Pune,marathi and honeywell!!!

Pune-never thought i'd go to this city, ever.I had nothing to do with this place.But this thought of mine, was 5 years back before my dad got posted to mumbai.Things have changed since then- I have to fly to reach home, get myself familiar with in-flight etiquettes and act cool and composed every time the flight lands(not easy!!).So what am i doing in Pune right now???Well, i'm doing my 1 month internship at Honeywell Automation.Lots of people here at Honeywell have asked me this question-"What are you doing in Pune,when your college is in Coimbatore??",to which i reply ,"You see my parents stay in Mumbai,so Pune is the closest place to do an internship".And then you see them raise their eyebrows and ask the next question "SO YOU'RE FROM MUMBAI"?Then i start my abashing reply "I'm basically from Chennai ,studying in Coimbatore and my parents stay in Mumbai". !!!!

Before i came here ,Pune had always appeared to me as a separate entity altogether.And i found that out after a week of reccceing. Pune is a Bangalorish-Chennai with a Mumbai-ish insignia all over it.Bangalore- because the "IT cement" is spread all over the city,Chennai because I know what Chennai feels like :) and Pune felt almost the same, Mumbai maybe because of the language and the culture.

Don't know why i'm starting my blog again and why i named it "randomly aimless".I probably am bored.I'm just hoping to write something in this space and not leave it filled with dark matter.
